Trust

1 Corinthians 1:9 (amplified)
God is faithful(reliable, trustworthy, and therefore ever true to His promise, and He can be depended on); by Him you were called into companionship and participation with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
2Corinthians 1:20 (amplified)
For as many as are the promises of God, they all find their Yes(answer) in Him(Christ). For this reason we also utter the Amen(so be it) to God through Him(in His Person and by His agency) to the glory of God.
Proverbs 3: 5-6 (amplified)
Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.
Father,
Thank you that you do not change. You remain the same yesterday, today and forever. Thank you for your promises to us that are an anchor for our souls and that through them we partake of your divine nature and escape the corruption that is in the world. Thank you for the Holy Spirit who is our Helper and constant companion, our advocate, our strengthener, our teacher, our guide, our counselor. Thank you Holy Spirit for always leading and guiding us to Jesus, lifting Him up to us and in us. Thank you that when the storms of life come you are right there with us, for you have promised to never leave us or forsake us. Thank you Holy Spirit for reminding us of these precious promises that are ours in Jesus and through Jesus and we are to possess. We overcome because you have overcome. Jesus, you are the victor and you give your victory to us. We are more than conquerors through you who love us. Many are the circumstances, events, situations of this earthly life that we do not understand, but you do. You see all things perfectly. You know the beginning and the end, for you are the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the ending. Grant us the grace and mercy we need for this day and help us to have your understanding and not lean on our own but lean on you. In these times of the trials of our faith grant us the wisdom we need and that you have said you give liberally and upbraid not. Help us to have the courage and boldness we need to face this day in your wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Help us to not doubt you, in Jesus Name.

I love that post. Great prayer. I also am amazed at the pictures of the rainbow. How beautiful, I never can seem to capture a good pic of a rainbow, it just doesn't show up well. What a blessing.
Love you!

Amber, thanks for the encouragement. Don't know if you can see it, but it's a double rainbow. The picture didn't carry it over as good as I had hoped. This is the 2nd double rainbow I've seen this year. This one was taken in June before our trip to Mich. The first one was in February when we were coming back from Gatlinburg. Both times were so special to me. Reminding me of the double portion and our Father's faithfulness.

Great post! The word reminds us who we are in Him. Your prayer just carries that on through. When we were in Gatlinburg last year, we took some pictures of a double rainbow off of the balcony of our hotel. It was so beautiful. I never looked at it as a double portion though. Awesome! Thanks.
